Participants to the Conference will be responsible for the booking and payment of their own accommodations.
A limited number of rooms are available in Carleton student residences on campus on a first come first serve basis. The rooms are two bedroom suites (140$ + HST (Harmonized Sales Tax)) that can be shared between two individuals (booking is for the whole suite). We partnered with some hotels in Ottawa to offer you preferential discounted rates for the duration of the Conference. The detail for each hotel is listed below (please pay attention to the booking process, as some require you to call or email, and to the deadlines: most of these discounted prices will expire by mid-May or the end of May). For those unfamiliar with Canadian pricing, next to the room rates you will see + 13 % HST (Harmonized Sales Tax) and 6% MAT (Municipal Accommodation Tax). These are taxes that will be added to the final price of the room(s).
The Conference will mostly take place on Carleton University Campus, in Tory Building, on June 17th, 18th and 19th.
On the afternoon of June 18th, the keynote and the gala dinner will take place on the campus of University of Ottawa (ample time has been included in the schedule to allow participants to commute between location).
The hotels we partnered with are located in downtown Ottawa. Taxis to and from the airport cost around $35-40 each way. Campus can be accessed by public transportation (itinerary will be added to the website closer to the Conference dates).

Nous avons collaboré avec certains hôtels du centre-ville d’Ottawa pour vous offrir des taux concurrentiels pour la durée de la conférence. Vous pouvez trouver les informations détaillées pour chacun des hôtels ci-dessous (merci de lire attentivement les instructions concernant le processus de réservation et les politiques de chaque hôtel puisque la plupart d’entre eux ont une date limite de réservation vers la mi-mai ou la fin mai). Veuillez également noter qu’au Canada les prix sont toujours donnés avant l’ajout des taxes (taxe harmonisée de vente de 13% et taxe municipale de 5%). Ces taxes sont ajoutées dans le prix final des chambres.
Notre conférence se déroulera à deux endroits. La majeure partie de la conférence se déroulera sur le campus de l’Université Carleton, dans l’édifice Tory, les 17, 18 et 19 juin.
La conférence plénière et le souper de gala du 18 juin auront lieu sur le campus de l’Université d’Ottawa (l’horaire prévoit du temps pour se déplacer entre les deux campus).
Nos hôtels partenaires sont situés au centre-ville d’Ottawa. Les taxis depuis l’aéroport coûtent environ 35-40$ par trajet. Le campus est accessible par transport en commun (des itinéraires seront ajoutés au site web ultérieurement à l’approche de la conférence).

Refund policy: Please note that there is a 7-business-day cancellation policy for all reservations made under this group block. Any cancelations under seven days (168 hours) prior to reservation will be charged a fee and may be charged the full cost of the original booking

Refund policy: Reservations can be cancelled up to 48 hours (3 pm) before arrival, with no cancellation fee. If cancelled within 48 hours of arrival, there will be a cancellation fee equal to 1-night room and tax.
