Students in Prof. Paul Wilson’s POLM 5005 had the opportunity to hear from — and to question — Bill Fox, one of the country’s most experienced and astute political communication managers.  A former Ottawa and Washington bureau chief for the Toronto Star, he served as press secretary and director of communication for Prime Minister Brian Mulroney.  He subsequently became senior vice-president of public affairs for Bombardier and CN, and then executive vice-president, communications and corporate development, at Bell Canada Enterprises.  The author of Spinwars: Politics and New Media, Mr. Fox is currently consultant in government and media relations to Stikeman Elliott LLP.
