Billy currently works as Communications Advisor and Legislative Assistant to Tony Baldinelli, Member of Parliament for Niagara Falls and Shadow Minister for Tourism. On the side, he is also an entrepreneur as the Creator of Hockey Hardware and the Owner of FACE-OFF GAMES.
Most of his career has been focused on supporting parliamentarians fulfill their democratically elected duties and responsibilities. Billy has worked politics in Ottawa for nearly 10 years, covering time across four parliaments: the 41st, 42nd, 43rd, and 44th. He has worked in various levels of government, federally and provincially, in majority and minority contexts, and in both government and opposition.
Billy has also worked in a variety of office settings as well, including three ministerial offices, multiple hill offices, and a number of constituency offices. He has also managed two federal election campaigns in 2019 and 2021.
Overall, this experience has given Billy a sound understanding of the machinery of government, it’s operations, cycles, and dynamics, as well as opportunities to manage campaigns, communications, legislative and parliamentary affairs, stakeholder relations, and a wide range of public policy files.
