Lindsay Brumwell is the Interim Executive Director of Equal Voice, a national, multi-partisan charity dedicated to increasing the representation of women and gender-diverse individuals in Canadian politics. A seasoned strategist with a deep personal commitment to advancing gender equity in political leadership, Lindsay brings extensive experience in public affairs, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.

Throughout her career, Lindsay has worked at the intersection of politics, policy, and community engagement, advising organizations and industry leaders on navigating complex environments. She has a proven track record in building strategic partnerships, designing impactful advocacy campaigns, and fostering mutually beneficial solutions.

As Interim Executive Director, Lindsay leads Equal Voice through a pivotal period, overseeing the development of the organization’s 2025-2030 strategic plan and upcoming 25th anniversary (2026), as well as expanding its national and regional initiatives, including campaign schools, research on modernizing legislatures and efforts to break down barriers to political participation. Under her leadership, Equal Voice continues to empower women and gender-diverse individuals with the training, resources, and networks needed to run for office and lead with confidence.

When Lindsay is not working, volunteering or traveling. She spends her time with her husband and two fluffy dogs in northern Saskatchewan.
