Tammy leads the Government & Public Affairs and Sustainability team for McDonald’s Canada, a company that employs over 100,000 Canadians and serves 1.6 million people every day in over 1,400 restaurants. In her role, Tammy oversees a team with the goal to drive impact and enhance brand trust with government stakeholders.
Prior to joining McDonald’s Tammy worked with Argyle Public Relations as an extension of Facebook’s Public Policy team and supported other clients including global pharmaceuticals, non-profits, and financial industries with corporate communications and public policy. Tammy also has experience in government where she worked for the Speaker of the House of Commons.
The Political Management program not only provides students with an array of technical and practical skills to tackle politics but also opens doors to many opportunities through its unparalleled network of professionals. The program itself is run by an impressive roster of instructors and professors that I consider myself lucky to have met and been mentored by.
