To all members of the Carleton community,
Carleton University has embarked on a search for its 17th President and Vice-Chancellor. With the support of the Senate and the Board of Governors, the university has established an Advisory Committee to lead the recruitment process.
As the Chair of the Advisory Committee, I extend a warm welcome to our dedicated committee members. Their individual and collective dedication, insights, and diverse expertise and experiences will play an instrumental role in selecting a leader who will shape the future of our institution.
The committee’s work is a priority for Carleton and will extend into 2024 with a goal of attracting the best caliber of candidates. The committee places a priority on process integrity and protecting all applicants’ confidentiality. On this website, you’ll find the job posting and updates on all matters related to the presidential search.
Community input and feedback will be integral to this process and inform the Committee’s work in assessing and selecting our next President. To share your perspective and contribute to a collective vision of a great candidate, you are invited to complete this short survey.
At Carleton, we are strongly committed to fostering diversity within our community as a source of excellence, cultural enrichment, and social strength. We welcome any and all suggestions of candidates who would contribute to the further diversification of our university. Prospective candidates or those with candidate recommendations are asked to contact Michael Naufal of Boyden Executive Search.
Sincerely,
Greg Farrell
Chair, Advisory Committee on the President and Vice-Chancellor
