You can read department mail via a web browser at https://webmail.sce.carleton.ca. There are three clients available.
If you want to configure your mail client (Thunderbird, Outlook, etc), we provide IMAP protocol support. To configure your, mail client, you may need the following information.
Outgoing mail/SMTP server:
Use “smtp.sce.carleton.ca” or the SMTP address provided by your ISP. For smtp.sce.carleton.ca, use Port 587, connection security STARTTLS, authentication normal password. Also, see SMTP-AUTH
IMAP server:
Use “imap.sce.carleton.ca” for reading incoming mail via IMAP protocol. Port 993, connection security SSL/TLS, authentication normal password.
