I’m currently an adjunct professor in the Institute of Cognitive Science at Carleton University and
an adjunct professor at the Information Studies Department at the University of Ottawa. Outside of academics, I’m the principal of Sysabee, a consulting company that specializes in human systems analysis using data science, computer simulation and conceptual modelling techniques. I am also a founder of AI Guides and the Data Action Lab. Given the interdisciplinary nature of my research area, I’m a strong believer in collaborative research. While I do engage in some field research and experimentation, my main methodological focus is on creating models.
