Alice Leung
Assistant Program Director
During the year, Alice teaches music as a faculty member at St. Anne’s School in Aurora, ON. She began her teaching career with the York Region District School Board in 2016 and transitioned to St. Anne’s School in the fall of 2023. Alice began studying piano at the age of 7. At 16, she determined that the piano was a very lonely instrument and decided to join her school band on the flute. She holds Bachelor of Music and Bachelor of Education degrees from the University of Toronto, where she also studied piano under the instruction of Mia Bach. She is a member of the Ontario Band Association and holds an Associate Diploma (ARCT) from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She continues to perform as a flautist and pianist with the Metropolitan Winds of Toronto.
This will be Alice’s third summer with Shad Carleton. She has previously acted as Shad Carleton’s Recreation Director and Teacher Fellow. While not “musick-ing”, Alice is an avid fan of car karaoke, reading, and hiking.
