Chantal is an ultrarunner, ski mountaineer, language lover and family physician from Canmore, Alberta. She has been a longtime Shad enthusiast since she attended Shad Dalhousie in 2010. She then worked as a program assistant, then recreation director, at Shad Queen’s for 3 years while completing her Bachelors in Life Sciences. Chantal achieved her lifelong dream of moving to the mountains from Ontario to start medical school at the University of Calgary in 2015. After medical school, she completed her residency in Rural Family Medicine with the University of Alberta. She then moved to Canmore, where she has a family practice and works as a hospitalist physician.
