Hi everyone!! My name is Maya, and I’m heading into my second year of the Life Sciences program at McMaster University. I had the incredible opportunity to be a Shad at Carleton in 2022, and being back in this community is such an exciting honour.
Outside of academics, I’m a big fan of all things cozy and adventurous—whether that means getting lost in a good book, blasting country music, going for long walks, or treating myself to something sweet between study sessions. I’m always up for trying new things and love a spontaneous adventure.
This is my first time being a Program Assistant and I’m so excited to meet everyone!!
