Policy Representative
Sean Thomas is a graduate student at Carleton University, specializing in sustainable energy and environmental policy, and holds an Honours BA in Politics and Governance with a Minor in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University. With over eight years of experience in stakeholder engagement, team leadership, and analysis, he also serves as Engagement Coordinator for the NATO Association of Canada, where he designs outreach strategies and forges connections across sectors.
Driven by formative experiences in Mumbai, Sean’s career is grounded in advancing evidence-based, inclusive policy solutions. He has held board positions with student associations, led social justice and urban equity initiatives, and is an alum of the CDA Institute’s Young Professionals Programme, where he gained valuable insights in diplomacy and intergovernmental collaboration. Sean aspires to shape impactful policy both nationally and globally, contributing to organizations like the United Nations and supporting the Sustainable Development Goals through innovative, intersectional approaches.
