Fabio Sani
Fabio Sani is Professor of Social and Health Psychology at the University of Dundee. He examines the interplay between self and groups and is interested in the implications of group identification for a range of issues and processes — in particular, health in groups. He is currently leading a large longitudinal and cross-national ESRC-funded project in collaboration with an Italian medical practice and five Scottish medical practices that examines the effects of group identification on various dimensions of mental and physical health (e.g., depression, satisfaction with life, cholesterol, blood pressure).
