Sonia Lupien
Sonia Lupien is a Professor of Neuroscience at the Université de Montreal, and the founder and Director the Research Centre for Studies on Human Stress. Her most recent CIHR funded research is looking at the stress associated with the transition from elementary school to high school, and is aimed at providing children with the tools to recognize and cope with their daily stressors. Lupien is the recipient of a National Scientist Award from Fonds de recherché en santé du Québec (2008 – 2013) and is a Senior Investigator Research Chair (2008-2013)awarded by the Institute of Gender and Health, CIHR.
