Student Bio
Siri Venkata Krishna Sainath Konakalla obtained his Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Kakinada and was among the top 10% of his batch. After his undergraduate studies, he gained hands-on experience on the train hardware systems as a mechanical engineering intern while working for South Central Railways. Later worked as a Robotic Process Automation intern involving in both software management as well as automation of Route relay interlocking system.
Inspired by the current industry’s transformational phase of technology with artificial intelligence-driven systems he developed a fascination for autonomous systems especially aerial robotics involving machine learning aspects. He took the Uninhabited Aircraft Systems course in his first semester of the Master’s program which intrigued his interest further.
Currently, he is pursuing a Master of Applied Science in Aerospace Engineering at Carleton University under the supervision of Professor Jeremy Laliberte. His research focuses on UAS design & mission analysis, and Sensor integration areas.
