Professor Emeritus Doug Anglin has donated his rich collection of records, articles, and other documents to the Institute of African Studies at 
Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Carleton undergraduate History students have been archiving the documents in the Archives and Research Collections at the Carleton Library.
Professor Anglin received his DPhil from Oxford in 1956. He taught comparative and African politics at Carleton University from 1958 until his retirement in 1989. Professor Anglin was also the University of Zambia’s first Vice-Chancellor, from 1965-1969. Spanning the 1950’s to the present, the donated documents provide rich primary and secondary sources on a variety of topics regarding African historical, political, and economic affairs.
They will be searchable through Carleton; Archives and Research Collections database and accessible in its Reading Room, Room 503 in the MacOdrum Library on the Carleton campus:
