The Kailash Mital Theatre is Carleton University’s fully equipped 444 seat performance Theatre. Professionally equipped, managed and staffed, the Kailash Mital Theatre is suitable for Dramatic Productions, Acoustic and Amplified Concerts, and both Conferences and Meetings.

The Kailash Mital Theatre is available to both on and off campus groups.

Location

The Kailash Mital Theatre is located on the Colonel By side of the campus. It is attached to Southam Hall, next to parking lot #1 and the adjacent Library parking garage.

Parking

Parking is available in both Lot #1 and the Library parking garage. On Saturdays and Sundays, it costs $4.00/day. Parking on weekdays costs $3.50 per hour for a maximum of four hours ($14.00). The evening rate (after 5 p.m.) is $8.00. Pay and display machines accept only coins and VISA. For specific information about parking or to make special arrangements please contact the parking office at 520-2600 x3623.

Public Transit

Carleton University is served by the O-Train Trillium Line at Carleton Station and major routes 4 and 7 serve the campus all day, 7 days a week.

Route 111 serves the campus Monday to Friday and connects with Algonquin College. Starting Sept. 6, some trips on Route 129 will be extended to Carleton University as well.

The U-Pass for full-time students at Carleton is valid from September 2015 to April 2016. Part-time students can pay their fare with exact cash, tickets, PRESTO card or an Adult pass.
