In May 2014 Allan Thompson of Journalism will lead the course in Rwanda. The course will coincide with the 20th anniversary of the genocide. It will examine the role of the media in the genocide and the evolution of the media in Rwanda in the two decades since. The course is open to all Carleton students with at least third year standing.
We will be holding two information sessions for students potentially interested in enrolling in this course. They will both be September 26th in Room D382 Loeb (the FPA Boardroom). The first session is from 2-3:30, while the second is from 7-8:30.
