KONY 2012 Film Screening & Panel Discussion:
The Institute of African Studies Students Association, the Coalition of Students Against Slavery, & STAND Carleton is pleased to bring Invisible Children to Carleton on March 20th with a viewing of their latest film, KONY 2012. The film will be followed with a discussion by representatives of Invisible Children, including a speaker from Uganda. Following the screening and presentation by Invisible Children, there will be a panel discussion in coalition with the Institute of African Studies at Carleton to provide additional insight & perspectives on the KONY 2012 campaign. Joining us will be Doris Buss (Associate Professor, Department of Law, Carleton), Dr. Tokunbo Ojo (Lecturer, School of Journalism & Communications, Carleton), and David Mastey (PhD candidate, Department of English, Carleton). The discussion will be moderated by Dr. Blair Rutherford (Director of the Institute of African Studies, Carleton).
