The Institute of African Studies and by the Institute of Health, Carleton University, present a seminar entitled “Outlasting Peace: The Challenges of Providing Primary Healthcare in Northern Uganda” by Dr. Dominique Corti. She is the only child of Dr. Lucille Teasdale, one of Canada’s first female surgeons and founder of St. Mary’s Lacor Hospital, will discuss the ongoing challenges of maintaining funding for health care in a recovering war zone.
