the role of women leaders in citizen-driven community-based development

What challenges do women face as leaders in their communities? In what ways can they promote development that strengthens community resilience, promotes accountable democracies and builds local economies? What are some of the innovative ways in which they are creating space for innovation and transformation? How can they promote gender equality as leaders? This panel will address these issues and feature:
