Raven Wilkinson
Raven graduated with a B.A. in Creative Industries with distinction from Ryerson University in June 2017. Her current research interests revolve around identity formation. First, she is interested in the ways black young adults’ identities are influenced by authentic representations on contemporary TV shows. She is also interested in investigating the ways in which Jamaican language and identity has developed as a result of slavery and colonialism. Raven enjoys eating food, drinking kombucha tea, watching TV shows, and being cozy at home. She is happiest when all of these activities occur at once.
