PhD Student

My name is Joy Podder, I have recently been admitted as a Ph.D. student in Transportation Engineering (Pavement Engineering) at Carleton University, under the supervision of Dr. Kamal Hossain. I have successfully completed my M.Sc. in the area of transportation engineering from Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST), Bangladesh. During thesis work, my research was focused on “Ageing characteristics of reclaimed asphalt pavement binder rejuvenated by locally available materials. I have completed my B.Sc. from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), Bangladesh, majoring in Transportation Engineering. I previously worked as a Research Assistant at the Bangladesh Road Research Laboratory (BRRL), a government organization under the Roads and Highways Department of Bangladesh. In addition, I served as a Lecturer at the Bangladesh Army International University of Science and Technology (BAIUST) and the European University of Bangladesh (EUB), where I gained valuable academic and teaching experience.
