Master's Student
My name is Showaib Ahmed Chowdhury. I am pursuing my MASc in Transportation Engineering at Carleton University from Fall 2022. I completed my BSc in Civil Engineering from RUET, Bangladesh. Since 2019, I am serving as a faculty member at the Department of Building Engineering & Construction Management in my alma mater. My everlasting desire to contribute to the scientific regime has inspired me to pursue my career as an academician. My initial aim is to obtain the MASc degree, followed by pursuing doctoral degrees and continuing my study as a Postdoctoral Researcher in this field. Therefore, designing and developing performance-based asphalt mixes to enhance the conventional highway construction specifications using local, recycled, waste, and regenerative materials are always at the top of my research interests. With a balanced research experience and academic qualification, I am confident to contribute to the research on sustainable asphalt pavement materials under the supervision of respected Professor Dr. Kamal Hossain.
