Carleton University has partnered with Bell Helicopter to create a new breed of drone: the Mid-Class Rotorcraft Unmanned Aerial System. Powerful and versatile, it has applications in surveying, forestry monitoring, forest fire detection, meteorology, pipeline emissions data collection, wildlife monitoring and more.
