Robots help patients walk again – CU Engineering
“Robots for rehab” are being developed by a group of engineers at Carleton University in Ottawa to help patients regain the ability to walk.
Mojtaba Ahmadi, an assistant professor of mechanical engineering, is leading a project to design three kinds of robots that could assist physiotherapists to provide therapy to patients recovering from problems such as strokes.
