Alex Ellery is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. His research interests include space robotics, design of serviceable satellites, on-orbit satellite servicing, design and analysis of planetary rovers, design of entry, descent and landing systems for planetary exploration, robotic drills & instrumentation for astrobiological surveys, and biomimetic design for space applications.
