Dr. Diane A. Isabelle is an Associate Professor of International Business.  Her career spans the private sector, the public sector (National Research Council of Canada) and academia.  Prior to joining academia, she was the Executive Director to the Vice-President Physical Sciences/Emerging Technologies at the National Research Council of Canada (NRC), working on positioning Canada in ‘big science’ in fields ranging from metrology, nanotechnology, IT, nuclear reactors, microstructural sciences, to astronomy and astrophysics. Dr. Isabelle’s research focuses broadly on the areas of science, technology, innovation and techno-entrepreneurship within a global context.  Her areas of research and interests include global collaborative research, S&T commercialization and innovation policy, emerging technologies, such as AI, machine learning, computer-aided systems, and other topics related to technology, innovation management, and international business.
