Dr. Ernest Kwan is an Assistant Professor in the Sprott School of Business. His area of specialization is the development of statistical graphics for social science research. He particularly focuses on graphics that facilitate the understanding and communication of data analysis results. He is also interested in the use of graphics for teaching statistics in order to promote a visual approach to data analysis. His current research involves the development of the tableplot, a semi-graphic display to assist the interpretation of numeric information presented in tabular form.
