Dr. Robert Gauthier is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electronics. His research focuses on photonic crystals and photonic quasi-crystals bandgap and defect state engineering, laser trapping, manipulation, orientation and ablation of micron sized objects, and simulation software development for physics and engineering applications.
