Dr. Wei Shi is an associate professor in the School of Information Technology. Her research interests are in Big Data Analytics; improving Performance and Security in Distributed Systems, such as IoT, Wireless Sensor Actuator/Robot Networks (WSARNETs), Intelligent Vehicular Ad hoc Networks (InVANETs), Data Center and Clouds; Data Privacy Protection. Her research is supported by the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC), IBM and various government branches.
