Publication alert: How do crayfish deal with oxygen deficit?

Imane Rhzali (B.Sc. Biochemistry/2023) has published their undergraduate honours thesis research on the biochemical response of crayfish to stress caused by oxygen deprivation. This work was part of a larger project in the group of Prof. Ken Storey (Institute of Biochemistry). The work indicates that biochemical regulation is essential for animals to ensure that only vital functions remain active when undergoing environmental stress.
