Becca graduated in May 2024 with a B.Sc. in Sustainable Design Engineering and a Minor in Mathematics from the University of Prince Edward Island. They previously interned at the Wind Energy Institute of Canada conducting research on environmental factors impacting photovoltaic solar panel production.
They joined CABER in September 2024 as a M.A.Sc. candidate in Mechanical Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Cynthia Cruickshank. Becca’s current research focuses on the modelling and service life estimation of vacuum insulated glazing window units. Their research interest is in environmental impacts on Canadian housing and energy infrastructure.
