Cassidy started her second year of Sustainable and Renewable Energy Engineering at Carleton University in September 2024; one month later she began as an undergraduate research assistant at CABER.
Cassidy’s interest in gaining hands-on experience and contributing to reducing the environmental impact of our built environment is what led her to CABER.
During her time as a research assistant, Cassidy has assisted graduate students with their research projects and material testing. She focuses most of her time on testing insulation and masonry materials to quantify hygric characteristics, along with working on hygrothermal modeling.
