Chris Campbell finished his bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Waterloo in the spring of 2017. Having designed and built an off-grid solar electric system for a camper van, his interest in solar energy systems directed the focus of his masters research when he decided to join the CABER Team.
Using vacuum insulation panels and energy recovery ventilation, Chris has been characterizing the moisture performance in a net-zero house through in-situ experimental testing and simulations.
In partnership with Dr. Scott Bucking, Chris is co-supervised in a research opportunity with the Northern Nomad, a net-zero tiny house built by Carleton students.
