Liam joined the CABER team in May 2021 as an undergraduate research assistant after completing his third year of Mechanical Engineering at Carleton University.
His interests in data acquisition and control systems, as well as his desire to work in a hands-on research setting are what led him to join the team.
Liam has developed data acquisition and control system programs using LabVIEW for various apparatuses within CABER, including the Guarded Hot Box, Pressurized Spray Rack, In-Situ Wall Openings, and the Guarded Hot Plate. He also assists with the instrumentation and commissioning of CABER and facilitates graduate students’ experimental work.
