Maggie joined CABER in September 2022 after completing her Bachelor of Engineering in Sustainable and Renewable Energy with a focus in Efficient Energy Generation and Conversion at Carleton University in 2021. Maggie is now pursuing her M.A.Sc. in Sustainable Energy Engineering under the supervision of Dr. Cynthia Cruickshank. She is currently researching the feasibility of incorporating phase change materials into residential wall paints to reduce space conditioning loads in Canadian climates.
Maggie is interested in thermal energy storage in buildings and communities, renewable energy systems and sustainable technology options for space conditioning.
