Xuan-En began as an undergraduate research assistant at CABER after completing her second year of Architectural Conservation and Sustainability Engineering at Carleton University in May of 2025.
Xuan-En is interested in life cycle analysis and gaining a better understanding of the embodied carbon of building materials. The opportunity to broaden her understanding of energy efficient buildings and contribute towards meaningful research is what brought her to join the CABER team.
Xuan-En has assisted graduate students with construction of their hygrothermal wall samples and helped to update the automatic roof top weather station located at CABER.
