Network researcher Dirk De Bièvre (University of Antwerp) recently published new research on European trade policy and CETA, an article in International Spectator titled, “The Paradox of Weakness in European Trade Policy: Contestation and Resilience in CETA and TTIP Negotiations” (De Bièvre, 2018) and a new textbook, “The Trade Policy of the European Union”, co-authored with Dr. Sieglinde Gstöhl (College of Europe) (Red Globe Press, 2017).
Both publications provide important insights into EU trade policy, with the former covering interactions with civil society and negotiating strength and the latter providing a comprehensive overview of EU trade policy.
