This year, the Civil and Environmental Engineering Department proudly hosted the 2024 John Adjeleian Lecture and Awards Event in a hybrid format on March 26, 2024. Speaker, Dr. Osama Moselhi, shared his knowledge and expertise with over 180 registered attendees, both in-person and virtual. His topic on the dynamic landscape of civil engineering showcased innovative solutions and technologies that shape the industry's future. The audience consisted of faculty, students, esteemed guests and the general public.
In addition, the event celebrated the achievements of Civil and Environmental Engineering undergraduate and graduate students who were awarded scholarships, fellowships, and bursaries between 2023 – 2024. Many of the undergraduate and graduate award recipients attended including Anthony Urbisci, a Bachelor of Engineering student and recipient of the Dr. John Adjeleian Undergraduate Scholarship, and Gerry Rafael-White, a Master of Architecture student and recipient of the John Adjeleian Graduate Scholarship.
