I am playing two roles at this conference. I am a fourth year undergraduate Communication and Media Studies student and research assistant at Carleton University. I am also a member of Mood Disorders Ottawa (MDO) where I am an upcoming ‘Tell Your Story’ Workshop Facilitator and recently certified The Writer’s Collective (TWC) Facilitator. I am passionate about understanding how the way we communicate about mood disorders and other mental health conditions affects the lived experience of individuals.
