I have over 25 years of experience in the criminal justice system. From positions with the Boys and Girls Club, Youth Probation, and Pinecrest-Queensway Community Health Centre, I have developed a wide network of connections within the Ottawa community. I have been the Field Placement Co-ordinator since 2007.
How are you currently involved in community-campus partnerships for teaching, research or otherwise?
I place 80 3rd and 4th year Criminology students, each year, in the Criminal Justice field. Through a weekly seminar class, we discuss topics in criminal justice, as well as career possibilities and volunteer opportunities.
