Patricia is an Associate Professor at Carleton whose research interests include: just and sustainable food systems; food policy and governance; and environmental conflict and democracy. She serves as co-lead of the Eastern Ontario Node of the Nourishing Communities, and served 8+ years on the board of Just Food in Ottawa.
How are you currently involved in community-campus partnerships for teaching, research or otherwise?
– I will be teaching an applied, community-based research seminar in winter 2019, themed around localizing food systems, and I am looking for prospective project ideas.
– Virtually all my research involves community partners.
