Dr. Renate Ysseldyk is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at Carleton University. She studies the influence of psycho-social factors, and especially particular social group identities, on coping with stressful experiences. Her research takes an interdisciplinary and community-based approach in order to contribute toward developing healthier societies.
How are you currently involved in community-campus partnerships for teaching, research or otherwise?
I am currently involved in a variety of community-campus research partnerships, largely related to the health and well-being of older adults in both residential and long-term care, as well as in community-dwelling settings.
