Sandra Nelson has been the Director, Strategic Procurement since May 2016. Prior to joining Purchasing Services, she held a variety of roles in Financial Services at Carleton including Research Accounting, Finance, and Financial Systems. Sandra has been involved with CSED in Ottawa, representing anchor institutions on the Social Procurement Advisory.
How are you currently involved in community-campus partnerships for teaching, research or otherwise?
Purchasing Services has been working with select social enterprises to showcase their product offerings on eShop, and most recently we have been working to incorporate social value categories into selected request for proposals. More work to come!
