Carleton has tasked the Carleton University Flexible Arrangements (CUFA) working group to develop a framework for flexible work arrangements that meets the University’s academic and administrative objectives as well as the needs of our employees.
What are Flexible Arrangements?
A flexible work arrangement is one where a staff member works in a location or at a time that differs from the traditional arrangement of working on campus during office hours. In contrast to the traditional arrangement, allowing flexible work arrangements emphasizes the University’s willingness to support its workers and increases its ability to adapt to challenging circumstances. Successful workplace flexibility can and should meet the needs of both the organization and its workers.
More information about flexible arrangements at Carleton can be found on the Human Resources website.
