CURA’s first dinner meeting of 2018 will be held on Friday, March 16 with guest speaker Dr. Kati Morrison. Reservations have been made at Al’s Steak House, banquet room, 327 Elgin Street at 7:00 pm (doors open at 6:30). Free parking available at the back of the restaurant!
Dr. Kati Morrison is a retired psychiatrist and a Holocaust educator. The title of her talk is “Still Here: Learning from the Holocaust”. A video of her testimony about her childhood in Budapest during the Holocaust is available on the website of the Holocaust Education Centre at Carleton. She has an MD from Budapest, and an MSc in physiology and a degree in Psychiatry, both from Ottawa U. Dr. Morrison was the founder of the Brief Dynamic Psychotherapy Program at Ottawa U.
