Professor DeRosa will speak on “Parkinson’s Disease Aptamers” which are DNA-based tools for the study and treatment of Parkinson’s Disease, discovered by her group. Professor DeRosa will describe the science of aptamers, how the aptamers were discovered and characterized, and their applications.
