Membership in Carleton University Retirees Association (CURA) is open to any retired Carleton employee. All retired employees are welcome, including former members of faculty, staff and managers.

Membership is also open to spouses or partners, even if they have not worked at Carleton, although they may not be eligible for all of the campus privileges that are available to former employees.

The association provides activities of interest to its members, a forum for informing them on issues of common interest and an opportunity to stay in touch with former colleagues and to stay abreast of developments at the university.

The annual membership fee in 2023/24 is $50 and is valid for the academic year. Fees are collected at the Welcome Meeting in September by cash or cheque or by mail to the CURA Treasurer Irwin Reichstein. We have recently added the e-transfer method: send to reichstein@scs.carleton.ca. Please use “What is the Capital of Canada” as the security question.
