In association with the Arab Ambassadors, the Carleton Initiative hosted a panel consisting of His Excellency Wael Aboulmagd, Ambassador of Egypt; Paul Heinbecker, Director of the Laurier Centre for Global Relations and former Canadian Ambassador to the United Nations; and Dr. Abdulla Nasher, former Yemeni Ambassador to Canada.
Dr. Rafik Goubran, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Design at Carleton University, moderated the panel and His Excellency Mouldi Sakri, Ambassador of Tunisia, offered closing remarks.
Guests included Arab and other diplomats, Members of Parliament and Senators representing all political parties, journalists, DFAIT and other government officials and representatives attended.
